Christmas Cheer!

Christmas Cheer!

That’s right friends, I’m passing on the Christmas Cheer to YOU!

With only 4 hours of sweet and precious sleep, I woke up this morning at 5:30 with so much excitement about the huge sale that has been running today.  I honestly love watching and seeing what items go first, because it gives me such a good idea as to what YOU, my audience is looking for.  I can post different pieces all day long, but without your feedback, I am lost as to what it is that you are wanting from rachaeldee.com.

I snuggled up with my teensy puppy this morning and smiled as I saw ladies starting to claim their gorgeous pieces quick as lightening!  It was so much fun!  I received such incredible feedback this morning with a handful of ladies sharing with me how grateful they were for the 70% off sale price.  Most were on a tight holiday budget so I decided that I had to extend it for the rest of the day!  With only 19 days left, this is a great sale price!  There are over 250 items still available so make sure to pop over now and take a look.  I love it when we get to work together and I’m richly blessed when you are HAPPY!

You can locate ALL items at my Facebook business page 🙂
Make sure to say hello while you’re there and tell me how your holiday has been!  Thanks so much sweet friends and I hope you have an amazing Friday Evening!

Facebook Friday Sale RULES

Facebook Friday Sale RULES

HI FRIENDS!!!

So I take it you have seen my Fa La La La La Facebook Friday Sale Flyer!!?
NO!?  Well here you go 😉

1475832_10152014544378119_634888817_n

Getting excited yet!?  ME TOO!!!

What I want to do now is lay the ground rules for tomorrows sale.
All of my designs are hand made and ONE OF A KIND.
Yes, that’s right!  Each piece as individual as you are and as such is individually beautiful.
*With that, once an item has SOLD, it is gone for good!*
I wanted to make sure everyone is on the same page with this, so that the sale runs smoothly.  If there is an item that can be recreated, it will say “2 available” etc. but each available piece will each have an element (bead, color, metal etc) that makes it unique and one of a kind.

Make sense?  Good!  Now lets move onto the rules 🙂
(If you are lost at ANY POINT, comment below and I will answer your question ASAP)

Fa La La La La Facebook Friday Sale RULES & GUILDELINES:
To receive the sale, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT that these rules be followed.
There is huge anticipation and buzz, with product moving FAST, so I want to make sure it goes as smooth as possible.  I will post a video tutorial this evening to clarify any of this!

Simple Breakdown:
1. Submit your order before cutoff to receive discount.
2. Mark SOLD in the comment section of the item you wish to purchase.
3. Message me individual photos of items you wish to purchase.
4. Message me your email address to receive invoice.

Detailed Breakdown:
1. The sale is broken down into 3 two hour time slots, finishing with a 12 hour 50%off burst.  To receive a certain percentage off, you must message me your time zone and submit your order before any specific cutoff.   *Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern.  (Ex: To get 60% off, you must submit your COMPLETED order by 12pm.)
Facebook allows me to see your location, and the messages time stamp when they are sent, so I will be able to confirm those details along with you.
I will be firm with submission times, so please keep that in mind!

2.This is a first come, first serve sale, so to keep an even playing field, I am asking you to mark SOLD in the comment section of the photo you want.  If the item is marked sold, it is no longer available.  (I will not be accepting custom orders at the sale price, but they are still available at a full price.  Please message me for details concerning custom orders. Lead time for any custom order will be after the New Year.)

3. In sending your order through Facebook’s message tab, I will need photos of each item you wish to purchase and that you have posted SOLD on.
On a computer you can copy and paste the photo in the message or on an iPad you can save it to your camera roll and add as an attachment.  (Tonight’s tutorial will explain this in depth.)  So for example, if you ordered 7 items, you would message me 7 pictures.

4. The last thing I need from you is your email address.  I will send you an invoice within 48 hours and it needs to be paid within 24 hours.  Due to high volume, I will not be able to “hold” orders.

ALL ITEMS ARE LOCATED AT https://facebook.com/youareallfair/photos_stream
*No items will be sold at rachaeldee.com at this time.  Please click the link above.
*There will be a specific SALE ALBUM to shop from.
*DETAILED VIDEO can be found HERE

Trendsetting Thursday {#1}

Trendsetting Thursday {#1}

Hello Lovelies & Happy Trendsetting Thursday!

Trendsetting Thursday?  Rachael What is that!?

Well friends, I am SO glad that you asked!!

This is the first in a series I am going to be starting on a variety of fun fashion trends, new designs from my handmade jewelry line, as well as interviews with beautiful women in the fashion industry and real women who simply want to create and express their own fashion in everyday life.

Can I just say I am SO excited!

Over the past 9 months since I have launched rachaeldee.com, I finally started walking in a dream and passion that God gave me years ago.  Its not just the ability to make handmade jewelry that is trendy, fashionable and affordable that has me excited.  Its also the reality that I have met so many artisans who sell their products, fashion or art forms as they fully embrace and exude the beauty that God has given them in their own unique area of influence.  This is what makes me excited to do what I love and call it my job!

Art, beauty and fashion, I truly believe is an expression that the God of all CREATION has blessed and gifted His people with.  It is the unique trades and gifts that are meant to enhance and beautiful His people!  For me, designing artisan, hand made jewelry is really about women adorning themselves with the beauty of Jesus and celebrating the fact that they represent the heart of God!  The jewelry is just the fun part 😉

I want to take Thursdays as an opportunity to connect with YOU.  I want to talk trends, take away points and hear your input on the day to day hustle and bustle of being the best YOU that YOU can be.  You might be a stay at home mom, a college student, a working-two-jobs-single mom just trying to pay the bills.  You might be some fancy pants lawyer with a gift of justice, a hairdresser or nanny.  AND YOU KNOW WHAT!!?  Each and every one of you is beautiful!
Each and every one of you have an aspect of Gods beauty to express and give to those around you…

AND I WANT TO CELEBRATE THAT IN YOU!

To start today’s first TRENDSETTING topic, I have chosen one of my favorite Fall/Winter color trends:

COBALT BLUE!

cobalt blue

This color trend is a rich, saturated hue of blue that is sure to stand out on any skin tone.
It is seen to be paired well with a steel grey, simple black, white, cherry red or even neutral taupe!

Again, my motto is be bright, bold and beautiful in whatever you choose wear.
Let the daring and dashing side of your personality SHINE through a simple statement piece.

Now, lets talk accessories!

Too scared to use Cobalt Blue as the main thrust of color in your outfit!?
I have some beautiful friends who love to keep a simple, sleek, neutral silhouette while using the trending color in their accessories instead of the totality of their ensemble!

Cobalt blue is a fun, life-giving color that speaks of peace, stability, calmness but importantly of CONFIDENCE.

So this week, open up the door to trying this gorgeous fall color trend and see how it makes you feel, how it improves your confidence and makes you walk with a bit of swagger 😉

Trust starts with a happy heart

Trust starts with a happy heart

I am learning that there is SO MUCH to cultivating and managing a blog and online business.

SERIOUSLY.  So much!

I came down with the FLU OF DOOM on the 5th of June and couldn’t even come up for air until a few days ago.  (Its the 25th!!!  That’s a LONG time to be out sick!)  I attempted to post updates, or scan orders, but my body was in serious shut down mode and I could barely function, let alone keep up with everything.

But in the blogging world CONSISTENCY IS KEY!
Out of sight, out of mind, and let me tell you I lost some SERIOUS momentum…

BUT NOW I AM BACK IN ACTION!!!

I started this amazing gift of a business because the Lord put it in my heart to do something I LOVE and to help bring in an income for my family.  But with any sort of entrepreneur type endeavor, there is risk and no real promise of sales.  I realized this as I dropped off the face of the social media planet, that so did my clients.  Now don’t get me wrong, its not a bad thing at all!  I am blessed and grateful that I am able to have a job that allows my body time to rest and recover when it needs to… And being a type 1 diabetic since the age of 3, there are times where my little immune system tells my body I AM DONE and just shuts down.  That is what happened on a  grand scale these past few weeks.

So I have been reflecting on the idea of consistency and trust, especially when it comes to stepping out in faith with a home based business, and I felt the Lord encourage me with a few truths.

1.  If I am walking in purity of heart and wholehearted obedience, as best as I know how, in ANYTHING I put my hands to, then He is faithful to fulfill His promises.  So to me it breaks down this way: I walk in obedience, and the Lord walks in providing.  When these rolls begin to reverse and I think that I AM THE ONE who can control things, then I am stepping outside of the will of God.  He is the good provider, and I am the one who walks in submission and trust.  He asks me to do my part, and He then fulfills His.  I am learning that I cannot do His part… AGGGH!  HARD!

2.  Trust means walking with a happy heart.  Trust means walking free of fear and anxiety.  What an amazing concept and truth!  So often I am bound up in fear, but His word says that perfect LOVE casts out all fear.  He also says that the peace of God will transcend all of my understanding.  Therefore if I trust Him with my finances (my biggest hurdle) then He will take care of every need, even though it might not look like I want it to.  His timing is so different than my own, but if anything I have learned int he last 9 months of marriage, is that He ALWAYS provides, often in the 11th hour, to produce faith and trust in my heart.  WHAT A KIND GOD WE HAVE!  He does nothing by mistake and wants my heart to be found fully and wholeheartedly in love.  I am learning this truth slowly but surely and am eager to see how His great love transforms and changes my heart over time!

3.  He is good and DOES good.  He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called by His name.  I want to walk in confidence when it comes to this reality.  No matter what mountains come my way, or the valleys that try to tear me down, I want to stand in confidence before God that I declared from my life that He is good.  All He does is good and though I might not fully understand, He is perfecting love deep within me.

So being sick, loosing a bit of ground when it comes to sales, and fighting through some of these truths has produced a resolve in me that I feel inspired a deep sense of HOPE when it comes to trusting the Lord with my future.  I am so touched by the kindness of the Lord and how He speaks through all situations.

He gives us gifts to grow in and I am so eager to see where HE takes me in the joy of making hand made, one of a kind jewelry.  This business is His and I want it to declare, if only in part, His beauty!  I want to trust Him every day, with every part of my heart, and to walk in the JOY that He has set before me.

I want to walk in every season with a happy heart.

So take a look at some of the designs I have been working on, let Him touch your own heart with the dreams He has placed there, and walk away from this little post with a sense of hope that God is good, does good and is in control of everything we need!
